Interior finish carpentry and furniture

Floor combining 3 types of wood.
The pattern is inspired by Japanese
tatami mats, and was designed and built
to fit the geometry and use of the room.

Practical solutions and home repairs

Small walk-in closet, cleared and rebuilt to optimize hanging, storage and drawer spaces -- making use of both inexpensive wire basket modules and custom built "drawer/shelves" to hold shoes and clothing.

A fence that partitions a deck across a seven foot span, and glides on casters to neatly fold out of the way.

Exterior and garden structures

Pergola designed as the focal structure of a
major landscaping project.  The structure is
built using notched wood-on-wood
joinery from hand-selected timbers.
